About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused Restaurant Server to join our team at the Doubletree by Hilton Jacksonville Airport. This position is available at one of our 230+ properties worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the restaurant pre-shift for the service ahead
• Greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant
• Guide guests on their culinary journey through descriptive selling of the menu
• Accurately take orders, confirming all special requests
• Understand the menu details to enhance conversations
• Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Aid guests with concerns to ensure they are satisfied
• Present bills accurately and promptly

Requirements

• Must be an early morning individual
• Descriptive and engaging personality
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
• Experience in food service (2-4 years preferred)
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for creating exceptional guest experiences
• Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
• Food service experience preferred
