AM Server Breakfast

Grand Hyatt Deer Valley is located in the famed Deer Valley ski resort, approximately 40 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. Part of a new development, the resort will feature 17 ski lifts, ±1,600 residential units, 8 hotels with ±1,350 rooms, ±250,000 square feet of conference and retail space, and one of the world’s largest “ski beaches.” The Grand Hyatt includes 436 luxury accommodations (381 guest rooms and 55 residential units), 30,000 square feet of versatile indoor meeting space, a lobby-level 3-meal restaurant and bar, signature bar, pool/après ski bar and grill, coffee bistro, large outdoor event terrace, pool with 3 whirlpools, kids club, and fitness area.

About the role

The Breakfast Food and Beverage Server is responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting food and beverage preferences. You will gain menu knowledge and provide recommendations from our cuisine and drink offerings. Engage in casual conversation to enhance the restaurant experience through your style and service. Additional duties include general restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• A genuine desire to satisfy guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied schedules as needed.
• Physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight and stand for long periods.
• Previous food service experience required (hospitality or fine dining preferred).
• Current alcohol server certification and/or food service permit as required by local or state regulations.
