Senior Web Manager, Matterport - Arlington, VA

Matterport · Arlington, VA · 4 wk ago
Information Technology$134k–$182k/yrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? Actually we have role overview, responsibilities, qualifications (basic, preferred), benefits, pay (base compensation). Also maybe schedule: On-site Monday-Friday mentioned. Should include schedule section if present. The posting says "Arlington, VA | On-site Monday-Friday". So schedule: On-site Monday-Friday. Also maybe location? Not required as heading. We'll include schedule. We must not repeat job title as heading. Use

for section headings: e.g., About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to decide which sections have content. We have role overview (could be "About the role") containing description of role overview. Then responsibilities list. Then qualifications: Basic Qualifications and Preferred Qualifications could be combined under "Qualifications" or separate "Requirements" and "Preferred Qualifications". The instruction: Use headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We can choose appropriate. We have "Basic Qualifications" and "Preferred Qualifications". Could put under "Qualifications" heading with subpoints? But we must use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. So we can list basic qualifications as list items, and preferred qualifications as list items maybe under same heading or separate. Could have "Requirements" for basic qualifications and "Preferred Qualifications" as separate heading? The list includes Requirements and Qualifications as separate possible headings. We could use "Requirements" for basic qualifications, and "Qualifications" for preferred? Or combine. Better: Use "Requirements" for basic qualifications (must-have). Use "Preferred Qualifications" as separate heading if we want. But the instruction says we can use those headings; not required to use all. We'll include Requirements and Preferred Qualifications. Also we have "Skills" maybe not explicit; we could omit if no dedicated skills list. We have proficiency in modern web technologies etc. That's part of qualifications. Could put under Requirements. We have Benefits list. We have Pay: Base Compensation range. We have Schedule: On-site Monday-Friday. We must not include boilerplate like EEO, sponsorship, etc. Remove those lines. We must preserve all substantive information. So we need to include role overview text, responsibilities bullet points, qualifications bullet points, benefits bullet points, pay range, schedule. We must not invent or summarize away detail. Keep details. Let's extract role overview paragraph: "Role Overview: Senior Web Manager, CoStar Group Arlington, VA | On-site Monday-Friday Matterport is seeking a Senior Web Manager to own the performance of our global web presence across multiple domains, built on Contentful. Reporting to the Senior Director of Demand Generation, you will keep our sites current, fast, and pointed at growth. Conversion is the job. Our website has two jobs to do: generate qualified leads that feed sales pipeline, and complete orders for camera hardware, subscriptions, and Capture Services. You will instrument both, report on both, and run a continuous experimentation program that measurably improves both. The goal is a unified web roadmap and one holistic view of web performance. Content, design, SEO, landing pages, and commerce all shape the same outcome, so they need to be planned and measured together rather than optimized in isolation. You will own that roadmap and answer for the result. Web Creative and Web Content sit in Creative and will continue to, and you will partner with them as peers on one shared plan." We'll put that under

. Responsibilities: list bullet points from "Responsibilities" section. Let's capture each bullet: - Own the Web Roadmap - Own one prioritized web roadmap across Matterport's domains, sequenced against growth, brand, and revenue goals. - Align Product, Engineering, Design, Creative, and Marketing partners around that plan, and keep it moving. - Write the briefs. - Partner with Web Creative on design, Web Content on authoring, and Engineering on build and components. - Make content and page updates directly in Contentful when needed. - Publishing should never wait on one person being available. - Escalate and coordinate resolution when site health or availability issues surface. - Conversion, Lead Generation, and Experimentation - Own web conversion across both paths: completed orders, and form fills that become qualified leads for Sales. - Define and instrument the metrics that matter, including visit-to-order rate, form conversion, and drop-off across evaluation, account creation, checkout, and purchase. - Run a standing experimentation program in VWO or Optimizely, and turn analytics into a prioritized backlog of high-impact tests. - Improve form and call-to-action performance to grow both the volume and the quality of leads reaching pipeline. - Own web performance reporting. - Build and maintain the dashboards that connect pages to engagement and revenue, and report to marketing leadership on a regular cadence. - Partner with Paid Media and Lifecycle on landing experiences and post-click conversion. - Marketing Site and Page Performance - Own the performance of our industry and solution pages: organic traffic, engagement, and mid-funnel conversion such as demo requests, trials, and contact-sales. - Set the refresh and testing cadence, and brief the content and design updates each page needs as positioning, products, and use cases evolve. - Drive improvements in page speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall experience with Engineering and Design. - Partner with our SEO/AEO agency, turning their strategy and recommendations into on-page and content improvements across domains - Ensure SEO/AEO/GEO best practices are reflected in site structure, metadata, and content, coordinating with Engineering on technical implementation - eCommerce Performance - Partner with commerce and product teams to improve on-site conversion and the end-to-end buying experience for camera hardware, subscriptions, and Capture Services. - Align page optimizations and web content with promotions, pricing changes, and product launches. - Contribute merchandising input where it affects conversion. We'll output as a single

    • list? The instruction: Use
      • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Could flatten all responsibilities into a list. But we might want to keep subheadings? Not allowed to use other headings besides those specified. Could embed subheadings as inside
      • ? Might be okay but better to keep simple list. However we risk losing structure. But we can still include the details inside each
      • . We'll create a flat list of all responsibility statements. Similarly for qualifications: Basic Qualifications list items; Preferred Qualifications list items. Benefits list items. Pay: we can put as

        with the range. Schedule:

On-site Monday-Friday. We must not include heading for Pay if not specified? It says include Pay section only if posting actually states them. It does state base compensation range, so we include Pay heading. Now produce HTML fragment. Let's craft.
