About the role

The Senior Web Designer, Brand at Vanta is responsible for leading the end-to-end web design process, from concept to execution. They work closely with the in-house web developer to implement responsive and user-friendly web designs that focus on functionality, accessibility, and performance. They collaborate with the Growth Marketing team to wireframe, design, and test conversion experiments on the website and landing pages, with a focus on engaging and converting prospects. Additionally, they maintain and enforce brand consistency across vanta.com, create and maintain a lightweight component design system in Figma, and foster an innovative and collaborative design environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end web design process, from concept to execution, and work closely with our in-house web developer to implement responsive and user-friendly web designs that focus on functionality, accessibility, and performance
  • Work with Growth Marketing team to wireframe, design, and test conversion experiments on our website and landing pages, with a focus on engaging and converting prospects
  • Maintain and enforce brand consistency across vanta.com
  • Create and maintain a light-weight component design system for vanta.com brand elements in Figma, ensuring consistency between design and Webflow development system
  • Foster an innovative and collaborative design environment, contributing to a culture of creativity and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in web design
  • B2B SaaS experience
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and user-centric design solutions, while aligning design strategies with business goals
  • Proficiency in Figma, with extensive experience creating wireframes, working prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
  • Adherence to web design best practices enabling pixel-perfect design-to-development workflows
  • Prominent ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working closely with both marketing specialists and software developers
  • Adaptable and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced work setting

Pay

Industry-competitive compensation with a salary range of $134,000 - $158,000. This role may also be eligible for commissions/bonus, equity, medical benefits, 401(k) plan, and other company perk programs.
