Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end development of website pages, campaign landing pages, and components in Webflow, from Figma design translation through launch.
- Design and build responsive, cross-browser-compatible, on-brand Webflow pages for complex or high-visibility projects.
- Build and maintain content using Webflow CMS, Collections, and Components, establishing scalable structures for reuse across the site.
- Write and maintain custom code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to extend Webflow functionality as needed.
- Conduct competitive and best-practice research to inform new page layouts, interactions, and design patterns.
- Optimize page load speed, SEO structure, and accessibility as part of the design and build process.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues, troubleshooting, and site performance concerns.
- Own technical QA processes, ensuring responsive behavior, links, and interactions are validated before launch.
- Monitor site performance and partner with IT on optimization and issue resolution.
- Establish and maintain file organization, naming conventions, and CMS structures.
- Partner with marketing, design, and content teams to scope and deliver page updates and campaign requirements.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior web team members on Webflow best practices and technical execution.
- Support campaign launches end-to-end and lead ongoing site maintenance planning.
- Partner with brand and design leadership to ensure visual consistency across new pages and campaign assets.
- Act as a liaison between marketing and IT/engineering on website infrastructure, integrations, and technical dependencies.
Job Requirements And Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Web Development, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of professional experience in web design and/or Webflow development.
- Advanced proficiency in web design principles and hands-on Webflow development, with the ability to work independently.
- A strong understanding of responsive design, mobile-first development, and cross-browser compatibility best practices.
- A working knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO), WCAG accessibility standards, and website performance optimization.
- Experience developing and maintaining consistent brand standards and design systems across websites.
- A strong attention to detail with the ability to make independent decisions related to layout, branding, and user experience.
- Proficiency with Webflow (Designer, CMS, and Editor), Figma, and front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a confidential, compliance-focused, or government contractor environment preferred.
