Senior Web Designer

About the role

The ideal candidate will lead design efforts for various digital projects, collaborating with strategists, copywriters, and developers to deliver high-quality, accessible, and engaging web experiences. They will be responsible for maintaining a consistent brand identity across multiple projects and ensuring that designs align with user needs and technical constraints.

Responsibilities

• Design responsive, user-friendly interfaces that meet the needs of users and adhere to accessibility standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate design concepts into detailed, functional designs that are scalable and maintainable.
• Develop and maintain design systems that can be easily managed by clients and developers.
• Work closely with developers to ensure that designs are implemented correctly and efficiently.
• Lead design efforts for multiple projects, ensuring consistency and coherence across different platforms and devices.
• Conduct regular design reviews with clients and team members to gather feedback and refine designs.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in web design and accessibility.

Requirements

• 5+ years of digital design experience, with a strong portfolio of original work.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of brand and typography design.
• Experience with modern CMS, frontend frameworks, and web development.
• Ability to develop and maintain design systems that are scalable and adaptable.
• Experience with component-based design and designing innovative layouts.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Previous agency experience is preferred.
• Photoshop skills and experience with digital illustration and 3D design are a plus.
• Experience with animation tools such as Lottie and GSAP is beneficial.
• Interest in the intersection of AI and web design is a bonus.

Bonus Points

• Experience with Webflow or Framer.
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
