About the role
The ideal candidate will lead design efforts for various digital projects, collaborating with strategists, copywriters, and developers to deliver high-quality, accessible, and engaging web experiences. They will be responsible for maintaining a consistent brand identity across multiple projects and ensuring that designs align with user needs and technical constraints.
Responsibilities
- Design responsive, user-friendly interfaces that meet the needs of users and adhere to accessibility standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate design concepts into detailed, functional designs that are scalable and maintainable.
- Develop and maintain design systems that can be easily managed by clients and developers.
- Work closely with developers to ensure that designs are implemented correctly and efficiently.
- Lead design efforts for multiple projects, ensuring consistency and coherence across different platforms and devices.
- Conduct regular design reviews with clients and team members to gather feedback and refine designs.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in web design and accessibility.
Requirements
- 5+ years of digital design experience, with a strong portfolio of original work.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of brand and typography design.
- Experience with modern CMS, frontend frameworks, and web development.
- Ability to develop and maintain design systems that are scalable and adaptable.
- Experience with component-based design and designing innovative layouts.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Previous agency experience is preferred.
- Photoshop skills and experience with digital illustration and 3D design are a plus.
- Experience with animation tools such as Lottie and GSAP is beneficial.
- Interest in the intersection of AI and web design is a bonus.
Bonus Points
- Experience with Webflow or Framer.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
