Senior Vice President, Fund Reporting Manager
About the role
This role is located in Boston MA. In this role, you’ll make an impact by:
- Providing oversight and setting priorities for multiple teams responsible for preparing and reviewing regulatory filings on behalf of clients and their funds.
- Setting up and overseeing processes that check for completeness and accuracy of disclosure in regulatory filings.
- Resolving complex escalated issues from team members.
- Overseeing relationships with senior-level auditors to ensure regulatory reporting meets their expectations and accurately reflects them in the day-to-day controls.
- Being the line of business contact for multiple client relationships and overseeing all client escalations, supporting clients with daily inquiries, errors, and access needs.
- Attending meetings as needed to review upcoming events or regulation changes.
- Partnering with internal teams to respond to clients as appropriate.
- Implementing strategies to monitor regulatory developments and respond accordingly, acting as a regulation and service expert in client-facing situations.
- Leading/supporting initiatives to transform existing processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Recruiting, directing, motivating, and developing staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional growth, and ability to function effectively as a team.
Responsibilities

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
7-10 years of experience in fund administration or accounting and 2-4 years of management experience preferred.
Experience in handling Form N-PORT, required.
Proven ability to recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff, managing multiple teams and resources effectively.
Client service skills required.
Proven ability to manage multiple clients while ensuring teams meet overall line of business deliverables.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $102,000 and $180,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
