About the role

The Senior Vice President of Brands will lead the strategic vision, development, and management of the company's global brand portfolio. This role ensures brand positioning, marketing initiatives, and overall brand integrity are aligned with corporate goals and global market trends. The position will oversee brand teams, manage relationships with licensors and stakeholders, and spearhead strategic initiatives that drive both brand awareness and profitability across all domestic and international markets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the long-term vision and strategy for the company’s entire brand portfolio, including proprietary and licensed brands
  • Lead efforts to identify new brand acquisition opportunities, discontinue underperforming brands, and renegotiate existing brand licenses
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure brand priorities align with corporate goals and market trends, including cross-pillar and cross-enterprise collaboration with Vision Care and Network businesses
  • Act as the primary liaison with key licensors, maintaining productive relationships and negotiating agreements for brand licensing, renewals, and amendments
  • Resolve any issues or disagreements with external partners in collaboration with legal counsel
  • Guide the development of global brand strategies to maximize market opportunities, ensuring brand positioning aligns with industry trends and company objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, supply chain, finance, marketing) to execute initiatives that maintain the integrity and market strength of the brands
  • Ensure gross margin, profitability, and sell-through targets are met across all brand lines by working closely with finance and operations teams
  • Lead and mentor brand management teams, ensuring top talent is retained and developed
  • Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability within the brand management team
  • Work closely with product development, merchandising, and sales teams to ensure successful brand execution and product performance in the marketplace
  • Guide the creation and execution of comprehensive marketing campaigns that elevate the perception and visibility of each brand
  • Ensure that all external communications, including advertising, promotions, and public relations efforts, are consistent with brand standards
  • Maintain brand consistency and integrity across all internal and external communications, ensuring that each brand adheres to established guidelines and standards

Qualifications

  • Typically Has The Following Skills Or Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years’ experience with clear progression to senior leadership/management roles, leading and motivating, cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve strategic goals
  • Ability to create forward-thinking brand strategies and innovative campaigns that resonate with the target audience
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and content marketing best practices
  • Experience managing multiple projects, timelines, and budgets to ensure effective brand execution within deadlines

Skills

  • Market research, customer insights, and data analytics to drive branding decisions that elevate visibility and grow customer reach
  • Forward-thinking brand strategies and innovative campaigns that resonate with the target audience
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and content marketing best practices

Pay

Salary range: $200,000 - $250,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
