Senior Valuation Analyst
About The Role
As a CBRE Senior Valuation Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing market value appraisals on real estate assets, which is part of the Valuation function. This job includes assisting management with the preparation of real estate appraisal reports, conducting discussions with market participants and performing research, preparing an overview and research simple appraisal assignments, developing complete written market value reports with the direction of senior staff, examining and reviewing simple income-producing properties, creating and presenting reports based on market comparisons, inspecting and resolving values of land, property, and businesses, researching the market area and reporting current transactions and how they compare to the subject property, comparing based on sales of comparable properties, tracking past revenue and expense performance and projecting stabilized operating statements.
- Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
- Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 2 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Certified Appraisal Trainee License required.
- Ability to use existing procedures to address standard problems.
- Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with a curious approach.
- Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
