About the role
We need a Transportation Planner to complete our Planning Team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement transportation plans that enhance mobility and accessibility
- Conduct research and analysis on transportation systems and infrastructure
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather input and feedback on transportation projects
- Prepare reports and presentations to inform decision-making processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in transportation planning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Knowledge of transportation planning principles and practices
- Experience with GIS software and data analysis tools
- Understanding of federal, state, and local transportation policies and regulations
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
