Duties
- Responsible for the District Traffic Investigation Report (TIR) safety review process for Category 1/HQ triggered investigations.
- District Highway Safety Improvement Program advisor.
- Sign installation orders and maintenance work orders as a result of TIR recommendations.
- District TASAS coordination.
- District ADA Infrastructure Program Manager.
- Staff manager over the District Traffic Safety Branch.
Special Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications: Possession of a valid driver's license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle. Senior Transportation Engineer (Civil) requires registration as a professional engineer in the State of California.
- Statement of Qualifications (SOQ): Must be typed, no more than two pages in length, and 12-point Arial font. Each question must be numbered and addressed in the same order as the questions below.
Qualifications
- Current version of the State Examination/Employment Application (STD Form 678).
- All Experience and Education relating to the Minimum Qualifications listed on the Classification Specification.
- Resume is optional.
