About the role

The Senior Transportation Engineer, Caltrans supervises civil engineering staff and supports maintenance engineering support staff. They manage the delivery of the Highway Maintenance (HM) Contract for Delivery (CFD) and provide technical consulting to Maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil engineering staff and Maintenance Engineering Support staff
• Assign work and direct Maintenance Engineering Support staff
• Deliver the Highway Maintenance (HM) Contract for Delivery (CFD)
• Provide technical consulting to Maintenance staff
• Engage in a wide range of issues with DES and HQ Maintenance staff
