Responsibilities
- Design and analysis for various traffic related tasks
- Work in a team environment
- Collaborate with roadway, structures, hydraulics, and environmental groups within our Transportation business unit
- Manage various traffic-related tasks
- Prepare design and cost estimates
- Meet with clients
- Aid in proposal development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Preferred Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Preferred Project Operations Technician (PTOE) certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in traffic engineering
- Preferred experience with VDOT, MDOT, and/or design-build projects
- Preferred MicroStation experience
- Preferred proficiency with analysis software (VISSIM, Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Project management and leadership skills
Skills
- BS in Civil Engineering
- PE license preferred
- PTOE preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in traffic engineering
- Experience with VDOT, MDOT, and/or design-build projects preferred
- MicroStation experience required

Pay
The salary range for this position is $115,000 to $150,000*
