Senior TMS Business Partner
About the role
Consults with and advises organizational leaders and Team Members on Talent Management Services (TMS) issues within an assigned client group or groups. Assesses and anticipates Team Member, Team Leader, and related organizational needs.
Responsibilities
- Develops and delivers integrated solutions across TMS departments.
- Adapts and applies TMS initiatives and programs to support local business needs.
- Serves as the client face of TMS, interfacing with other TMS groups and the Legal organization.
- Ensures compliance with corporate policies, government regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Builds strong business acumen, understands P&L and retail/functional knowledge, engages with functional leaders, and provides TMS system and process support.
- Develops and implements strategies to support the company's vision, growth, values, and operational objectives.
- Consults with business leaders on talent, leadership, people strategy, organization development, rewards, and culture.
- Assesses and mitigates business risks, ensures adequate planning for future changes, and clarifies workforce capability gaps.
- Makes sound policy interpretations and practice decisions, providing client advice to ensure adherence to company policies/practices.
- Trains, coaches, and advises assigned client teams/leaders on compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Derives evidence-based insights to recommend changes and influence leadership decision-making.
- Executes case and pilot studies to evaluate and address specific problems and questions.
- Understands WFM’s business objectives, competitive strengths, and opportunities, and differentiates best practices for the organization.
- Models commitment to customer service and engages as a subject matter expert on various TMS and related topics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications
- Leverages in-depth understanding of Human Resources concepts, practices, programs, and methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of labor issues including FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, and Leaves of Absence.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local Human Resources regulations and their application within WFM.
- In-depth skills in change management.
- Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Kronos, Workday, and other HRIS.

Pay
The wage range for this position is $77,111.00 - $131,089.00 Annual, commensurate with experience.
