Senior Test Technician
Overview
The Senior Tester is responsible for testing and maintaining various electrical, electronic, and electromechanical systems. The position also entails troubleshooting and repairing issues found during testing, analyzing malfunctions, and repair equipment.
Responsibilities
- C Conduct various tests on electronic components, assemblies, or systems to identify faults or inefficiencies
- Diagnose and repair complex electronic systems, including circuit board repair and component-level troubleshooting
- Calibrate and maintain electronic equipment and systems
- Utilize a variety of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers
- Soldering and desoldering electronic components
- Troubleshoot, resolving system and subsystem faults
- Document test procedures, results, and any necessary repairs or modifications
- Resolve issues and make decisions based on documentation and data
- Adhere to safety and quality guidelines and company policies
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 6+ years of Tester experience; to include maintenance and repair of a variety of electronic equipment
- Deep understanding of analog and digital circuits, components, and principles
- Create and execute test plans, test fixtures, and associated documentation
- Strong attention to detail, to include meticulousness in following procedures, documenting information, and ensuring quality work
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and SAP Enterprise Software
- Commitment to quality work and meeting deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates degree in Electronics or equivalent military experience
