Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Fabricates and/or prepares test specimens in the laboratory or on project job site.
- Constructs specimens or equipment using prepared plans or specifications.
- Oversees the conduct of complex tests or perform standardized tests.
- Affords assistance in the preparation of reports.
- Tabulates data and makes simple calculations, using the computer.
- Operates, calibrates, and maintains specialized equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensures the quality of test laboratory work.
- Maintains the test laboratory facility to provide a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Inspects equipment and ensures that safety/maintenance concerns are reported to the Manager.

Qualifications
- High School graduate with applicable course work and/or appropriate experience
- 10 years of experience in test/laboratory environment, cold-formed steel technology, instrumentation, the construction industry, and/or with computers.
