Senior Technician (Mechanic)

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Inspect and diagnose engines, generators, transmissions, and related components.
  • Dismantle, repair, rebuild, and reassemble mechanical parts following service manuals.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs for optimal equipment reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly.
  • Maintain and manage inventory; order parts as needed.
  • Provide technical guidance and documentation to subordinates.
  • Carry out additional tasks such as hydraulic system repairs, component work, and painting.
  • Work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A high school diploma preferred, vocational certification in mechanical or related field.
  • 6–10 years of experience in mechanical or engineering roles.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions, blueprints, and established procedures.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physically fit with good strength and stamina.
  • Willingness to work overtime and under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); SAP is a plus.
  • Valid UAE Driving License (preferred).
  • MTU/ZF certification or experience is an advantage.
