Senior Mechanic
About the role
YOU are mechanically inclined and have a knack for understanding how things work. You are an effective communicator and feel confident exercising your own judgement while following established guidelines and procedures to get the job done. You understand that proper maintenance of company equipment and vehicles is an extension of preserving safety in the workplace.
Responsibilities
- Experience with cleaning, inspecting, and testing mechanical equipment
- Detail-oriented and adept in preparing accurate records to track maintenance, repairs, and other relevant information
- Work independently when necessary
- Demonstrate attention to detail and be able to identify possible issues that would contribute to future breakdowns
Requirements
Preferably, YOU have 2-5 years of related experience
Familiarity with 49 CFR
Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic forklift repair
Qualifications
