Senior Technical Recruiter

About the Role
The Senior Technical Recruiter will serve as a strategic recruiting partner to senior leadership and hiring managers, leading full-cycle recruitment for director-level, executive, and other critical positions. This role aims to strengthen the company’s talent acquisition strategy by building talent pipelines, developing innovative sourcing strategies, and enhancing the candidate experience. The ideal candidate is a proactive talent advisor with a proven track record in competitive markets, helping reduce reliance on external search firms and ensuring alignment with iSuite’s culture and business objectives.
This position is preferably based in Granite City, IL, but strong candidates may also be considered in Chesterfield, MO; Nashville, TN; Charlotte, NC; or Raleigh, NC.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for director-level, executive, and other critical leadership positions across engineering, construction, manufacturing, and corporate functions nationwide.
- Serve as a strategic talent advisor to hiring managers and senior leaders, providing market intelligence, recruiting expertise, and guidance throughout the hiring process.
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify, engage, and attract top talent, including passive candidates in competitive markets.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines and professional networks to support current and future hiring needs.
- Partner with hiring leaders to define role requirements, develop hiring strategies, and create compelling candidate value propositions.
- Own candidate assessment, compensation analysis, offer negotiations, and successful candidate closings.
- Deliver a high-touch, professional candidate experience that strengthens the company’s employer brand.
- Reduce reliance on external search firms by developing internal recruiting capabilities and proactively sourcing high-quality talent.
- Provide day-to-day coaching, guidance, and support to Talent Acquisition team members to drive consistency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational growth initiatives.
- Monitor recruiting metrics, labor market trends, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and recruiting standards while maintaining accurate candidate data in the applicant tracking system.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop and maintain job descriptions, hiring profiles, and recruiting strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Contribute to the enhancement of recruiting processes, tools, technologies, and best practices to improve efficiency and hiring outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including corporate recruiting, agency recruiting, or a combination of both.
- Experience recruiting for director-level, executive, highly technical, engineering, construction, manufacturing, industrial, or industry-adjacent positions strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully sourcing, attracting, assessing, and hiring top talent in competitive markets.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and hiring managers on talent acquisition strategy and workforce planning.
- Strong experience developing and executing sourcing strategies across multiple channels (LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, referrals, industry associations, and passive candidate outreach).
- Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and candidate relationship management tools; iCIMS or similar platforms preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage compensation analysis, candidate negotiations, offer presentations, and closings for professional and executive-level positions.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices, employment laws, interviewing techniques, and candidate assessment methodologies.
- Experience analyzing recruiting metrics, talent market trends, and workforce data to drive hiring decisions and process improvements.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence hiring managers, candidates, and senior leadership.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand organizational structures, business needs, and technical requirements across functions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, LinkedIn Recruiter, and recruiting technologies.
- Occasional travel required to support recruiting initiatives, leadership hiring, career fairs, and multi-location operations.
- Valid driver’s license.
