Senior Technical Product Manager
What We Need
We're looking for an experienced Senior Technical Product Manager to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of tooling initiatives across SDS. This role is first and foremost about product management: defining the right problems, identifying the right solutions, and delivering meaningful impact to SDS teams and our studio partners.
This role requires strong ability to balance strategic vision (why/what) with practical delivery (how/when), build positive relationships cross-functionally between studios, engineers, and partners, and skillful communication in any direction, able to translate technical issues to non-technical audiences and vice versa.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7+ years of product management experience, ideally with exposure to technical tools, platforms, or pipelines. They should also have passion for game development and the tooling that enables teams to do their best creative work, and experience in AAA game development or publishing pipelines is a plus.
What You Will Do
- Own the product vision and strategy for multiple SDS tooling efforts across their lifecycles, from initial proposal and greenlight, through development and release.
- Translate ambiguous problem spaces into clear opportunities and measurable outcomes that deliver value for our partners.
- Capture and validate requirements, develop roadmaps, conduct competitive analysis, customer interviews, lead strategy discussions, and develop critical metrics and reporting.
- Define and track key success criteria (e.g., adoption, efficiency gains, user satisfaction) to guide prioritization and investment.
- Support agile planning by coordinating sprint cycles, backlog refinement, and release schedules to keep delivery predictable.
- Regularly communicate progress, outcomes, and risks to SDS leadership, executives, and customers.
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit
- Experience with platform products and technologies a plus.
- Bonus Points: Experience in AAA game development or publishing pipelines, familiarity with content creation tools, automation frameworks, or resource management systems, background in both product and project management roles, ideally in technical organizations, loves to solve tough problems.
