About Vitality Bowls

Vitality Bowls specializes in making delicious acai bowls, a thick blend of the acai berry topped with organic granola and a selection of superfood ingredients. Additional antioxidant-rich menu items include smoothies, fresh juices, soups, salads and panini. All items are made fresh in non-cross contamination kitchens to ensure safety for those with food allergies. No ingredient fillers such as ice, frozen yogurt, added sugar, or artificial preservatives are used, giving the purest taste possible to each item.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team, manage shifts, and delegate tasks
• Demonstrate exemplary knowledge of the job and excellent customer service
• Resolve customer issues politely to ensure satisfaction
• Accept deliveries and manage inventory status with managers/owners
• Check daily petty cash and manage the break schedule
• Attend management meetings
• Assist with interviews, evaluations, and training
• Memorize training material
• Maintain cleanliness of the front lobby and outside area
• Provide excellent customer service, assist and ring up guests, answer phone calls, and take orders
• Prep food according to proper procedures
• Continuously and thoroughly clean the kitchen and lobby
• Communicate with staff to ensure orders are made correctly and timely
• Communicate with managers about the schedule
• Complete all opening and closing duties
• Perform additional tasks requested by your manager
• Handle special circumstances
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers

Requirements

• Become food certified
• Ability to use a basic computer, POS system, handle cash, and credit cards
• Follow health, sanitary, and safety requirements
• Ability to stand for long periods, occasionally lift heavy boxes, move quickly, and maintain a sense of urgency
• Maintain a clean and work-appropriate personal appearance
• Come to work with a positive attitude and willingness to work well with others
• Demonstrate leadership abilities
