Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert within the team, contributing technical guidance and knowledge sharing
- Recommend improvements to internal processes, workflows, and operational efficiency
- Identify client needs and potential growth opportunities across service areas
- Serve as a primary client advisor, providing insight on industry trends, issues, and solution pathways
- Lead client engagements, overseeing delivery of financial reporting, tax compliance, and supporting documentation
- Conduct technical and quality reviews to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to standards
- Support business development activities, including client interactions, proposals, and cross-functional initiatives
- Manage engagement budgeting, billing, and performance tracking, including variance analysis
- Supervise, mentor, and develop staff through coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations
- Promote a collaborative team environment and support leadership direction and organizational culture
Requirements
- 8+ years of public accounting experience with at least 5 years of supervisory experience
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- CPA License
- Significant tax experience with small to mid size partnerships, S Corps, C Corps, and individuals
- Ability to go on site 3 days a week
Qualifications
Salary $150-190k plus bonus
