SENIOR TAX MANAGER

About the role

A well-respected, well-established firm in Baton Rouge, Louisiana is looking for its next leader. This position is the firm’s Director-equivalent (the firm does not use Director titles) and offers a clear path to Income Partner for those who desire it.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and supervise a tax team
• Build and manage client relationships
• Review individual, estate, gift, corporate, partnership, and nonprofit tax returns
• Represent clients before tax authorities
• Perform extensive tax research
• Handle client billing

Requirements

• CPA license
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 8+ years of public accounting experience
• Proven ability to build, lead, and manage a team
• In-depth knowledge of tax law
