About the role
The Senior Tax Manager will lead tax planning and compliance efforts, manage relationships with external tax advisors, and provide strategic advice to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive tax strategies aligned with business objectives
- Manage relationships with external tax advisors and prepare tax returns
- Provide guidance and training to staff on tax laws and regulations
- Conduct tax audits and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Prepare and present tax-related reports to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- 5+ years of experience in tax management or consulting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with tax software and systems
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations relevant to the industry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Strong knowledge of tax principles and practices
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
