Senior Tax Manager

About the role

Based in beautiful Hunt Valley, MD, we are looking to add a Sr Tax Manager to our growing team. Founded in 1986, we are a well-established, mid-sized (~40 employees) CPA firm with an average employee tenure of over 6 years! We strive on keeping a family-like culture, and a work-life balance that is not typical of other CPA firms. We are looking to hire future leaders for our firm.

Responsibilities

• Manage tax compliance and reporting for clients
• Prepare and review tax returns for various clients
• Provide tax planning and advisory services
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure client satisfaction
• Stay updated with tax laws and regulations

Requirements

• Active CPA
• 8+ Years of Public Accounting Experience
• Currently a Tax Manager or Sr Tax Manager at a CPA firm

Qualifications

• Master's in Accounting
• Experience with multiple returns & clients in multiple industries
• Good Tenure

Skills

• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
