Senior Tax Manager
About the role
This tax position will play a critical role in handling of the company’s U.S. federal and state income tax matters, including tax accounting, tax provision, tax audit defense.
Responsibilities
- Manage income tax compliance and tax provision processes covering US based companies.
- On proactive, reactive and as directed basis, research new tax developments to advise management of tax risks and opportunities.
- Cook up, assign and resolve multiple income tax audits for North American taxing jurisdictions (federal, state, county, local and provincial).
- Timely and efficiently respond to audit data requests and seek favorable tax outcomes.
- Maintain and update income tax department policies, procedures, processes, and systems.
- Cultivate working relationships across functional areas to encourage open dialogue on any tax matters related to contemplated business activities or transactions.
- Manage, train and coach staff.
- As allowed by applicable law, this role may need to perform late night, weekend, or holiday coverage due to month, quarter and year end requirements.
Requirements
Education/Experience
10+ years of progressive related tax experience in Public and/or Corporate setting
Strong track record of successfully managing people and processes (preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Certified Public Accountant
M.S. degree (preferred)

Pay
$121,300 - $176,000
Schedule
Hybrid: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday required office days for Panorama Office sites; Friday-work from home.
