We’re seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join our Corporate Tax team. This role offers the opportunity to engage in a wide range of tax work within a large, established organization—while contributing to continuous improvement and modernization of our tax processes. What You’ll Do As a Senior Tax Analyst, you’ll play a key role in research, reporting, and compliance while supporting strategic initiatives across the organization. Prepare and review quarterly and annual tax provision workpapers and financial statement reporting requirementsPrepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns and related filingsAnalyze tax accounts and reconcile to the general ledgerResolve tax issues and controversies through applied and directed researchAssess the business impact of tax law updates and implement appropriate process changesRespond to tax authority inquiries and support auditsIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, documentation, and internal controlsPartner cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, and external advisorsProvide guidance and mentorship to junior team members You’ll have visibility across the finance organization and the opportunity to influence process improvements that strengthen compliance and reduce risk. What You'll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field6–8 years of corporate tax or public accounting (tax) experienceExperience preparing complex tax returns and supporting schedulesStrong analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Preferred Qualifications CPA or Master of Business TaxationExperience supporting SEC or public company reportingFamiliarity with ERP systems and tax software At First American, we believe in empowering our people to grow, innovate, and make an impact. Pay Range: $85,000.00 - $113,300.00 Annually This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
