About the role

Park Bank is looking to add an experienced, talented member to our Human Resources team, and we’re eager to talk with you! We’re looking to fill the position of Senior Talent Management Specialist, a skilled human resources professional responsible for leading strategic recruitment, new associate onboarding, and key talent management initiatives.

Essential Functions & Duties

  • Strategic Recruitment
    • Collaborate and consult with hiring managers when hiring needs arise
    • Create engaging and enticing job postings for open positions
    • Collaborate with Marketing on creation of branded and engaging job ads and utilization of social media, and other various online platforms, to promote open jobs
    • Actively and continuously source passive candidates through various online mediums
    • Engage in ongoing community involvement with Park Bank Community Partners, and other relevant banking networking organizations; attend career fairs as needed
    • Keep Park Bank’s DE&I Mission top of mind when recruiting – this includes ensuring a fair and equitable recruitment process for all candidates
    • Review resumes, identify qualified candidates, and conduct phone screens
    • Ensure a positive candidate experience through the entire recruitment process
    • Act as a Subject Matter Expert on the interview process, consulting hiring managers on best practices, facilitating the interview process, providing resources, assisting managers as needed
    • Facilitate the offer process for candidates (compensation, offer letters, background checks, etc.)
    • Utilize the Predictive Index tools to guide the hiring process by identifying the right candidates and collaborate with managers on hiring decisions
    • Continuously identify opportunities to streamline or improve the recruitment process through internal resource utilization, HRIS optimization, and external vendor engagement
  • New Associate Onboarding
    • Coordinate all logistics for monthly New Associate Onboarding, including clear communication with candidates, hiring managers, training staff, senior leaders, and any other individuals involved
    • Process all necessary new associate onboarding tasks through HRIS
    • Ensure the ongoing evaluation of the efficacy of Park Bank’s onboarding practices and procedure, regularly assessing opportunities for potential enhancements or improvements to the experience
    • Ensure a positive associate experience through the onboarding process – ensure associates and hiring managers have a clear understanding of the onboarding process, schedule, requirements, etc.
  • Talent Management and Career Development
    • Partnership with HR Leaders, facilitate Associate Career Pathing & Leadership Development Programs at Park Bank through resource creation, communication, ongoing evaluation of efficacy, identifying areas for improvement, collaborating and consulting with managers
    • Own the full cycle Year End Performance Review Process (with strategic support from HR Leadership) including timeline planning, communication, facilitation, and continuous improvement
    • Support HR Leadership with Manager Training Program as needed
    • Partner with HR leadership to ensure compensation practices support organizational goals related to retention, performance, and internal equity
  • Miscellaneous Human Resources Duties
    • Process all Associate Position Changes in the HRIS and company intranet
    • Ongoing evaluation of HRIS Utilization, monitoring and identifying for areas of improvement, clean up, etc.
    • Variety of HR Team project work throughout the year
    • May assist with other HR Department tasks outside of the Talent Management areas as needed, especially at year end
    • Engaged and active member of the HR Team, participating in HR Team Meetings and other functions
    • Continuously and actively seeking ways to enhance HR skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Required Education and Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Business or HR related field
    • Minimum 10 years of HR experience including talent management, recruitment, and performance management
  • Preferred Education And Experience
    • Recent experience recruiting in multiple discipline areas and levels, including hiring for nonexempt, exempt and leadership positions
    • Experience designing, developing and supporting organization-wide talent management programs that cover talent development, performance management, data analytics and relationship management
    • Experience in all areas of strategic sourcing such as the internet, social media, networking, employee referrals, job postings, as well as conducting open houses and job fairs
