About the role
We are seeking a skilled Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to handle full life cycle recruitment of cleared and uncleared billable full-time IT positions. This role involves building relationships with program management, business development, and human resources, using independent judgment and creative problem-solving to succeed in government contracting recruitment.
Responsibilities
- Full life cycle recruitment for billable positions in cybersecurity compliance and operations, identity credential and access management, enterprise IT modernization & optimization, and software solutions development & sustainment.
- Manage the entire recruitment process from sourcing and screening to interviewing, negotiating, and initiating the offer letter.
- Lead upfront involvement with hiring managers to fully understand role requirements, including knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Utilize multiple sourcing strategies (job boards, social media, referrals) to identify and attract top talent.
- Collaborate with managers and team members to develop and implement recruitment strategies while ensuring HR regulatory compliance.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers for a smooth and efficient process.
- Source passive candidates using selective postings, professional networks, and other recruiting resources.
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of proven experience in full life cycle government contract recruitment within the Department of Defense or Federal Civilian agencies.
- Experience identifying and closing candidates across all levels of the talent spectrum with a willingness to do what it takes to succeed.
- Proven track record in full life cycle recruiting, strong collaboration skills, and ability to influence hiring decisions.
- Experience working within prime and sub-contracting positions.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software tools.
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize multiple ongoing projects.
- Bachelor’s degree desired/preferred.
Pay
$75,000 USD - $95,000 USD
