About the Role

Mission Lane is combining the power of data, technology, and exceptional service to pave a clear way forward for millions of people on the path to financial success. We're looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to own full-cycle hiring across a shifting mix of technical and non-technical teams, reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition.

The Impact You'll Make

Behind every forward motion a Mission Lane customer makes is someone on our team: the analyst who spotted a pattern, the data scientist who developed a new algorithm, the product manager who made the next step clearer. Finding those people, the ones who clear the path to progress for our customers, is the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner's job: working with hiring managers, one search and one great hire at a time.

What You'll Own

  • Full-cycle hiring for a rotating portfolio of roles spanning credit, data science, analytics, product and platform management, and corporate functions, typically managing ~6-10 open requisitions at a time
  • Proactive sourcing for every search
  • The hiring plan behind every search you run: scorecards, panel recommendations, and interviewer briefs that define what "right" looks like before the search begins
  • Calibration across the interview process, coaching hiring managers and panelists toward a consistent, unbiased read on every candidate
  • Offer strategy and negotiation, partnering with Finance, HRBPs, and Total Rewards to land the right terms and close candidates
  • Pipeline and candidate data integrity across Greenhouse, Gem, and LinkedIn Recruiter, plus the market and talent-availability insight that shapes how your hiring managers scope and prioritize their roles

You'll Thrive In This Role If You

  • Build genuine partnerships with hiring managers, understanding a role well enough to pressure-test its scope and timeline together before a search begins.
  • Read a stalled pipeline like a puzzle: tracing the drop-off to its actual cause and knowing when the right move is patience rather than more volume.
  • Are comfortable as priorities sharpen and Mission Lane's own playbook keeps taking shape.
  • Are energized by hiring across genuinely different functions in the same week: a credit risk analyst one day, a machine learning engineer the next.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with some of that time spent in-house rather than at an agency, ideally at a company that does not yet have a strong, widely recognized brand driving significant inbound applicant volume.
  • A track record of partnering directly with business stakeholders to understand what a hiring goal requires, then delivering candidates who meet it.
  • Proficiency with Greenhouse, Gem, and LinkedIn Recruiter, or comparable ATS, CRM, and sourcing platforms.
  • Ability to travel approximately ~4-6 times per year for in-person collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Credit industry experience, recruiting for credit analyst roles.
  • Experience recruiting for data science and machine learning roles.
  • Experience operating in a fast-changing, high-growth environment where priorities and processes continue to evolve as the company scales.
  • Recruiting experience at a company of comparable size and growth stage to Mission Lane, roughly 500 employees, high-growth, and still finding its shape.

Compensation

Annual full-time starting base salary range: $143,000-$170,000. This role is eligible for additional compensation in the forms of participation in our annual incentive and equity programs. Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.

Benefits

  • Paid time off
  • 401(k) match
  • Monthly wellness stipend
  • Health/dental/vision insurance options
  • Disability coverage
  • Paid parental leave
  • Flexible spending account (for childcare and healthcare)
  • Life insurance
  • Remote-first work environment

About Mission Lane

Founded in December 2018, Mission Lane is a purpose-driven fintech company based in the U.S., with headquarters in Richmond, Virginia. It all started with a realization: nearly fifty percent of the adult population in the U.S. doesn't have access to a clear line of credit. Most traditional credit card companies either overlook or overcharge this group because they have less-than-perfect credit scores or no scores at all. We decided this just wouldn't do. In partnership with our sponsor banks, we offer credit cards under the Mission Lane brand name, with better, clearer terms, and a more refined customer experience than the alternatives available to people working hard to improve their credit. To date, over four million consumers have chosen Mission Lane, earning high customer ratings on Credit Karma for its market segment and industry leading Net Promoter scores. Mission Lane has cumulatively raised over $600 million of equity from leading investors, including Invus Opportunities, QED Investors, LL Funds, funds affiliated with Oaktree Capital Management, and other leading investors.
