About the role

The Advanced Technology Group at NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Systems Software Engineer to join their team. This role involves working with leading technologists to develop advanced computational methods for semiconductor manufacturing and design, leveraging the GPU to accelerate these solutions, and ensuring the pace of semiconductor innovation remains robust.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with top-tier professionals to advance cutting-edge computational methods for semiconductor manufacturing and design.
• Utilize the GPU to significantly enhance these software solutions.
• Ensure semiconductor yield and time to market are accelerated through innovative approaches.

Requirements

• A Master's (or PhD preferred) degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• At least 5 years of research/industry experience.
• A demonstrated history of innovation, such as the invention of computer algorithms.
• Experience in developing and delivering complex software solutions for semiconductor fabrication and design.
• Proven ability to scale software to utilize millions of compute hours and process petabytes of data.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of technology and passion for the field.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, particularly adept at guiding and influencing within a dynamic matrix environment.

Skills

• Advanced knowledge of computational methods and semiconductor design.
• Experience with massively distributed computing, computational geometry, and diffractive optics.
• Expertise in artificial intelligence and its applications in semiconductor design.

Benefits

NVIDIA offers competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $152,000 - $241,500 for Level 3 and $184,000 - $287,500 for Level 4, along with equity and comprehensive benefits.

Pay

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

This role is based in Hillsboro, Oregon.
