About the role

We are currently seeking a Sr. Systems Integrator to provide support to the US DOE Office of Legacy Management IT Projects team. The Sr. Systems Integrator will leverage their knowledge and experience to participate on teams to develop key new IT capabilities or to modernize and enhance existing capabilities, artifacts, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Directs the complex design, selection, installation, modification, and operation of an information systems capability.
• Understands and applies existing, company-specific project management methods.
• Actively participates in IT Project Management, IT Governance, and IT Operations department meetings to provide status updates, present planned configuration changes, assist in root cause analysis, and support issue resolution.
• Viewed as an expert in special knowledge & technology as well as operational policy & procedure.
• Supervises the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support for enterprise business applications and systems.
• Provides local support to site operations and staff as needed, including infrastructure systems, networking devices and configuration, client endpoints, and end-users.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or other STEM-related fields.
• 9 or more years of applicable and proven experience in Information Technology / Services.
• MSCE or similar/equivalent, CCNA, CCNP Enterprise or CCNP Data Center Certification, and/or PMP certifications preferred.
• Required screenings: Drug Screen, Physical Assessment (if applicable), Background Check, Driver Record Screen.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal, with the ability to translate technical jargon to simple business language.
• Advanced analytical skills and abilities to derive solutions for complex issues.
• Experience with M365 suite of products, spanning both administration and general use.
• Experience with Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, Azure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint), various web conferencing tools (Teams, WebEx), and various web browsers (Edge, Chrome).
• Exposure to or skills with any of the following: NIST SP 800-53, Networking, Server Operations, or LM Cybersecurity technical systems (Splunk, CrowdStrike, Cisco FirePower, etc.).
• Experience with Palo Alto Network and Cisco Firewalls.
• Experience with IPv6.
• Collaboration and cooperation in various team settings, including physical and virtual environments.

Physical Requirements

• Light work – significant degree of walking or standing, lifting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.

$116,159.34 - $147,072.72
