Senior Systems Intergrator

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Sr. Systems Integrator to provide support to the US DOE Office of Legacy Management IT Projects team. The Sr. Systems Integrator will leverage their knowledge and experience to participate on teams developing key new IT capabilities or modernizing and enhancing existing capabilities, artifacts, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Directs the complex design, selection, installation, modification, and operation of an information systems capability.
• Understands and applies existing, company-specific project management methods.
• Actively participates in IT Project Management, IT Governance, and IT Operations department meetings to provide status updates, present planned configuration changes, and assist in root cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Supervises the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support for enterprise business applications and systems.
• Provides local support to site operations and staff, including infrastructure systems, networking devices and configuration, client endpoints, and end-users.
• Assists with the creation and/or review of project and technical documentation such as templates, charters, schedules, plans, and design documents.
• Develops solutions to resolve project issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or other STEM-related fields.
• 9 or more years of applicable and proven experience in Information Technology/Services.
• MSCE or similar/equivalent certification, CCNA, CCNP Enterprise or CCNP Data Center Certification, and/or PMP certifications preferred.
• Required screenings: Drug Screen, Physical Assessment (if applicable), Background Check, Driver Record Screen.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate technical jargon into simple business language.
• Advanced analytical skills and abilities to derive solutions for complex issues.
• Experience with the M365 suite of products, spanning both administration and general use.
• Experience with Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, and Azure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint), various web conferencing tools (Teams, WebEx), and web browsers (Edge, Chrome).
• Exposure to or skills with NIST SP 800-53, Networking, Server Operations, or LM Cybersecurity technical systems (Splunk, CrowdStrike, Cisco FirePower, etc.).
• Experience with Palo Alto Network and Cisco Firewalls.
• Experience with IPv6.
• Collaboration and cooperation in various team settings, including physical and virtual environments.

Physical Requirements

• Light work involving a significant degree of walking or standing.

$116,159.34 - $147,072.72
