Senior Systems and Network Support Technician

This position must be based in the DFW area and includes remote support, client-facing work, and occasional onsite service.

About the Role

TeamLogic IT is seeking a well-rounded Senior Systems and Network Support Technician to support small and midsized businesses throughout DFW. This is not a basic help desk position. You will troubleshoot complex issues across Microsoft 365, servers, networks, firewalls, cloud systems, endpoints, and security tools. The right candidate can work independently, communicate effectively with clients, document thoroughly, and take ownership of issues through resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve escalated issues involving workstations, servers, networks, Microsoft 365, cloud services, and business applications
  • Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, VPNs, VLANs, wireless networks, DNS, DHCP, and internet connectivity
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Active Directory, and Group Policy
  • Support Windows Server, virtualization, and hybrid environments
  • Assist with client onboarding, cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and technical projects
  • Use NinjaOne, Autotask, and related tools to monitor systems, manage tickets, and document service delivery
  • Communicate clearly with business owners, executives, end users, vendors, and internal teams
  • Identify opportunities to improve client security, reliability, and efficiency
  • Use scripting, automation, and AI-assisted tools where appropriate
  • Participate in an after-hours escalation rotation as needed

Requirements

  • Three or more years of hands-on IT support, systems administration, network administration, or managed services experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Microsoft 365, Windows, servers, networks, firewalls, and Active Directory
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, and wireless networking
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID
  • Experience configuring or troubleshooting business-class firewalls and network equipment
  • Ability to diagnose issues independently and identify root causes
  • Strong written, verbal, organizational, and client service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional DFW client visits

Preferred Qualifications

  • Managed Service Provider experience
  • Experience with NinjaOne, Autotask, ConnectWise, Kaseya, or comparable RMM and PSA platforms
  • Experience with SonicWall, Meraki, Fortinet, or UniFi
  • Experience with Azure, Intune, Conditional Access, and Microsoft 365 migrations
  • PowerShell scripting or automation experience
  • Cybersecurity, endpoint protection, MDR, email security, or backup experience
  • Relevant Microsoft, CompTIA, CCNA, SonicWall, or Fortinet certifications
