Senior Systems Administrator Unix/Linux with Security Clearance

About the role

As a Senior Unix/Linux Administrator, you’ll keep mission-critical Navy systems secure, optimized, and performing at their peak. You’ll use your deep technical expertise to manage large enterprise environments where reliability is everything.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and harden Unix/Linux systems.
• Maintain system backups, performance tuning, and patch management.
• Ensure compliance with DoD STIGs and cybersecurity standards.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues and automate key processes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of Unix/Linux administration experience.
• IAT Level III certification required.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, network security, and shell scripting.
• Ability to think ahead, anticipate issues, and act decisively.
