• About the Role

  This position is responsible for managing and maintaining complex Linux systems within a secure environment. The candidate will also be involved in system security, patch management, and ensuring compliance with security policies.

• Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Linux servers and workstations
  • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures
  • Perform regular backups and disaster recovery testing
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system availability and reliability

• Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Linux administration
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • Knowledge of SELinux and other security technologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

• Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash)

• Skills

  • Linux command line proficiency
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (Prometheus, Nagios)
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
