About the role
The Senior Systems Administrator II position at CGS supports a wide-ranging technical support initiative for a large Federal agency. The ideal candidate will manage the archiving of Relativity databases, develop and document workflows, and collaborate with legal and IT teams to meet project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage the archiving of Relativity databases, developing and documenting workflows to identify, archive, and delete materials according to destruction/deletion policies.
- Consult with COR, Government Case Managers, and trial attorneys to determine system and project requirements.
- Design and implement entire systems to meet defined requirements, including program validations and testing.
- Perform systems evaluations, prepare formal reports and presentations, and consult with COR on task orders, scheduling, and progress reporting.
- Supervise personnel on task orders, ensuring compliance with work standards and technical design conformity to functional requirements.
- Ensure successful completion of work, timely delivery of deliverables, and quality control.
- Prepare system/technical documentation, organize and conduct user training sessions, and develop training material and manuals.
Qualifications
- Significant Relativity experience, including creation of ARM's (Archive/Restore/Move).
- Experience creating and refining Relativity ARM workflows and standard operating procedures.
- Substantial, hands-on experience in actual work on systems being used, typically at least five years.
- Broad knowledge of Government IT environments, including office automation networks, PC and server-based databases and applications.
- Experience in a litigation support environment is helpful.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Supervisory experience preferred, with the ability to lead a technical team and design and implement system solutions.
- Undergraduate degree in computer science or information management/technology disciplines, strongly preferred.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
