Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager
About the role
The Strategic Partnerships team sits at the center of Unity's most consequential commercial partnerships. We are a lean, senior group responsible for the agreements that define how the world's most important technology companies collaborate with Unity. We drive long-term strategic value by closing complex deals, managing active partner relationships, and translating partnership activity into outcomes that matter to Unity's product roadmap and financial results. We take a Unity-first approach: success is measured by commercial outcomes for the company. That means working across Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Sales to move agreements forward and keep partners invested in the relationship.
Responsibilities
Own end-to-end commercial execution for major technology partnerships (AI, platform, cloud, and hardware).
Draft, redline, and drive to signature complex commercial agreements.
Serve as the day-to-day relationship owner with senior partner counterparts — organizing and leading strategic business reviews, tracking open commercial items, and identifying partnership expansion opportunities.
Identify, research, and validate new business initiatives, and partnership opportunities to grow our business.
Cook up operational partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Sales, Biz Ops.
Requirements
Demonstrated track record closing complex commercial agreements in a technology company.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with ability to get into details with operational team members and synthesize for C-suite.
Attention to detail.
Strong data and commercial acumen, with experience in financial modeling, developing business models, evaluating pricing strategies, or designing KPIs.
Comfort operating amidst ambiguity and uncertainty, while managing multiple concurrent workstreams across different partners and deal stages simultaneously.
Qualifications
Experience in AI or platform technology businesses is a plus.
Skills
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Benefits
$199,300.00 - $298,900.00 This range reflects the anticipated base salary for this position. Beyond base salary, this role may be eligible for equity awards and participation in our company incentive plans (such as annual discretionary bonuses or sales commissions). The final offer amount will depend on several factors, including geographic location and the candidate’s relevant experience, professional background, and skill set.
