Senior Stamping Press Changeover Specialist

About the role

The Senior Stamping Press Changeover Specialist is responsible for ensuring efficient and safe operation of stamping presses at the St. Paul facility. This role requires strong changeover skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform changeovers on stamping presses to ensure production schedules are met
• Monitor and maintain press equipment to prevent downtime and improve efficiency
• Identify and resolve issues related to press performance and safety
• Train new employees on changeover procedures and safety protocols
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in stamping operations or related field
• Proficiency with stamping press changeover procedures
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (due to travel between facilities)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred)
• Experience with stamping press maintenance and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
