Precision Stamping Press Setup Technician

Tempco Manufacturing · St Paul, MN · 6 days ago
On-siteEngineering$28–$36/hrFull-time

About the role

Your day, reimagined. You step onto the production floor in Saint Paul, review the job routing at your station, and prep a small stamping press for the first run of the day. You stage materials so there’s no downtime, verify specs with a micrometer and calipers, and dial in the setup to hit quality standards and cycle-time targets. When a die starts marking parts, you pause the run, investigate the root cause, sync up with Toolroom or Maintenance, and capture the fix in clear work instructions so the next setup is faster. Throughout the shift, you keep the cell clean, enter production and quality data into the collection system, and partner with teammates to meet delivery commitments—always with safety first.
