About the role

The Metal Stamping Press Setup Technician is responsible for setting up and operating metal stamping presses to produce various components and parts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate metal stamping presses according to production schedules and specifications.
• Perform quality checks on stamped parts to ensure conformance to design and manufacturing standards.
• Adjust and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in regular training sessions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in metal stamping operations.
• Knowledge of metal stamping processes and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
