Senior/Staff Product Designer, AI

About the role

The Senior/Staff Product Designer will lead the design of innovative products that leverage artificial intelligence to solve complex problems. Reporting to the Director of Product Design, this role is responsible for ideation, design systems, visual design, and user experience across multiple product lines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of AI-driven products, ensuring they are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, data science, and marketing to translate product vision into design solutions.
• Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across all products.
• Conduct user research to inform design decisions and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
• Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implementable and optimize for performance.
• Continuously improve design processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in product design, with a focus on AI applications.
• Experience leading design teams and managing projects from concept to launch.
• Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and ability to apply them to AI-driven products.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and familiarity with prototyping tools like Marvel or Principle.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

Pay

• Salary range: $120,000 - $180,000 annually.
