Senior Staff Accountant
About the role
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and Statutory (NAIC) requirements.
Support regulatory filings and ensure compliance with insurance reporting standards.
Assist with reinsurance accounting and evaluate financial impact of transactions.
Strengthen internal controls and contribute to audit readiness and coordination.
Partner cross-functionally to resolve accounting issues and support business initiatives.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience in Property & Casualty insurance, preferably homeowners
- Knowledge of GAAP and statutory accounting (NAIC reporting)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively

Qualifications
