About the role

We are seeking a Senior Specialist, Production Services Application Support Analyst to join our team. This role is located in Berwyn, PA.

Responsibilities

  • Perform moderate to complex troubleshooting as a subject matter expert in one or more applications.
  • Maintain and support applications and their operating environments.
  • Respond to alerts, perform root cause analysis, and use procedures and documentation for issue resolution.
  • Ensure appropriate monitoring and alerting setup, monitor applications, and respond to incidents.
  • Lead or partner with other team members on analyzing moderate to complex issues.
  • Perform ongoing health checks and validations after changes or significant incidents.
  • Provide input and recommendations for technical solutions on application problems.
  • Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting for more complex issues and escalate to second level application or infrastructure support when necessary.
  • Design and implement automation for manual processes.
  • Mentor or provide guidance for junior team members.
  • Partner with quality assurance, development, and business teams to support client needs.
  • Contribute to the achievement of related teams' objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
  • 4-6 years of experience in applications support or production environment required.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is essential.
  • Experience in Java, Oracle, Perl, and Python.

Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
