Senior Specialist, Deal Advisory & Strategy Analytics

Responsibilities

Lead and manage buy-side and sell-side business analytics and performance transformation engagements.
Develop relationships with clients and engage in effective interactions with target and sell-side company executives.
Perform quality of data and revenue and profitability analysis at the transaction level across customers, products, and services.
Identify and evaluate matters that potentially impact enterprise value and the purchase or sales price, including financial and operational trends of target companies.
Communicate findings effectively, both verbally and in writing, through Excel, PowerPoint, and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of recent experience in strategy consulting, financial analysis, mergers and acquisitions, transaction services, advisory or public accounting.
    Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a quantitative field such as statistics, data science, mathematics, finance or economics preferred; minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
    Superior analytical skills using financial modeling, research, and accounting analysis; proficiency with financial research tools; experience with scripting languages such as Python, R or SQL; data visualization tools such Power BI or Tableau; and data preparation tools such as Databricks and Alteryx.
    Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and analytics-driven findings to business people potentially including C-level executives; able to explain business processes, concepts, challenges, and issues to technical resources.
    Experience in project management, including planning, organizing, coordinating and managing staff, clients and/or partners towards the successful completion of a project.
    Willingness and ability to travel.

Requirements

Pay

California Salary Range: $102,790 - $217,810
