The Analytics Consulting team specializes in providing advanced analytics solutions to healthcare organizations, leveraging real-world data to drive insights and decision-making. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality analytics products and services to our clients, playing a crucial role in scoping analyses, driving client satisfaction, business growth, and innovation.

Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have:

  • Successfully delivered complex analytics projects on time and within budget, exceeding client expectations.
  • Built strong, collaborative relationships with key client stakeholders, resulting in high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Conducted statistical analyses, constructed and fit mathematical models, and answered questions using complex datasets.
  • Implemented process improvements that enhanced the efficiency and effectiveness of the Analytics Consulting team.
  • Developed the skills and capabilities of team members, fostering a high-performing and engaged team culture.
  • Contributed to the growth of the company by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within existing client accounts.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership in healthcare analytics, both internally and externally, through presentations, publications, and industry events.
  • Deepened your domain expertise across multiple key areas of interest to our clients, including projections, market landscaping, patient journey, line-of-therapy based analytics, segmentation & targeting, and analytical support for commercial assessments, forecasting, and BD & Licensing.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of analytics projects, from scoping and planning to execution and delivery.
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into tractable data analysis projects.
  • Interpret and investigate data and statistical questions that arise through the delivery of client work.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Science, Engineering, and Product Management, to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in healthcare analytics, incorporating new insights and technologies into our service offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in healthcare analytics or related field, with a proven track record of delivering analytics solutions to clients.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and managing client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.

Nice to have

  • Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards and regulations, such as HIPAA and GDPR.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and data visualization.

Pay

The pay range for this position reflects a minimum and maximum range of annual base pay within the US. The starting annual base pay is:

  • San Francisco Bay Area and New York City: $122,000—$155,000 USD
  • All Other US Locations: $106,000—$135,000 USD

This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and benefits including comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance; flexible time off and holidays; 401(k) with company match; disability insurance and life insurance; and leaves of absence in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.

Schedule

Komodo Health has a hybrid work model with hubs in San Francisco, New York City, and Chicago. Roles vary — some can be performed from anywhere in the country, others are scoped to a specific region, and some are based near one of our hubs. For hub-based roles, expectations will always be clear before you join.
