Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage buy-side and sell-side business analytics and performance transformation engagements
  • Develop relationships with clients and engage in effective interactions with target and sell-side company executives
  • Perform quality of data and revenue and profitability analysis at the transaction level across customers, products, and services
  • Identify and evaluate matters that potentially impact enterprise value and the purchase or sales price, including financial and operational trends of target companies
  • Communicate findings effectively, both verbal and written, through Excel, PowerPoint, and visualization tools such as Power BI
  • Own or participate in every component of a client deliverable, from identifying client needs to producing the final presentation and reports

Requirements

  • Minimum three years of recent experience in strategy consulting, financial analysis, mergers and acquisitions, transaction services, advisory or public accounting
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a quantitative field such as statistics, data science, mathematics, finance or economics preferred; minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required
  • Superior analytical skills using financial modeling, research, and accounting analysis
  • Proficiency with financial research tools; experience with scripting languages such as Python, R or SQL; data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau; and data preparation tools such as Databricks and Alteryx
  • Experience presenting findings by weaving data into a compelling narrative to drive business insights and outcomes
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and analytics-driven findings to business people, potentially including C-level executives
  • Experience in project management, including planning, organizing, coordinating and managing staff, clients and/or partners towards the successful completion of a project
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future

Pay

California Salary Range: $104,880 - $198,145
