Senior Specialist - Architecture

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Specialist with 7 to 11 years of experience as a Redis DBA to manage, optimize, and ensure the reliability of Redis database environments within the Database architecture domain.

Job Description

• Manage and maintain Redis database environments to ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal performance.
• Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching activities specific to Redis databases.
• Monitor Redis database performance metrics and implement enhancements to improve efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity and security through tailored backup and recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support Redis-related requirements and resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on Redis database configurations, standards, and best practices.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in Redis database administration.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Redis database operations including monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Plan and execute backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies to minimize system downtime.
• Implement and enforce security policies, access controls, and compliance standards for Redis databases.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Redis data structures and queries.
• Manage capacity planning, growth forecasting, and resource allocation for Redis environments.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support application deployments, migrations, and upgrades involving Redis.
• Mentor and guide junior DBAs and team members to enhance overall team capabilities.
