Senior Specialist - Architecture
About the role
Lead frontend engineering for Angular applications across all web-facing SYS IDs on Tomcat OCP. Define migration path from on-prem OCP to OCP on EC2 with minimal change expected.
Key responsibilities
- Create day-in-the-life persona journeys for Operations, Developer, Business Analyst, and Compliance roles
- Design QuickSight embedded analytics integration with existing FICC web portals
- Produce current state and target state comparison diagrams with visual assessments
- Assess UI/UX implications of the migration for user workflow continuity
- Define Angular CICD patterns for Jenkins/CloudBees pipeline
- Design QuickSight dashboard structure replacing Crystal Reports
- Document CDS NFS report distribution and S3 migration path for report access
Required skills
- 5 years Angular development experience
- OpenShift container deployment for frontend applications
- Amazon QuickSight embedded analytics
- Jenkins/CloudBees CICD pipeline design
- Financial services domain understanding (trading/settlement UIs)

- Primary Owner: Day in the Life Personas (4 persona journey documents)
- Angular Migration Assessment (OCP on-prem to OCP on EC2)
- QuickSight Dashboard Design (Crystal Reports replacement)
