Senior Solutions Engineer, Public Sector

About the role

As a Senior Solutions Engineer, Public Sector, you will support Federal Civilian and DoD customers, working closely with regional account executives to meet sales targets. You will also present to customers and prospects, develop test plans, and represent Wiz in technical forums.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to provide technical leadership to Federal Civilian and DoD customers and prospects.
• Provide presentations to customers and prospects, including whiteboards, product demonstrations, slides, and proof of value outcomes.
• Help customers and prospects plan in-depth test plans for demonstrating the value of the Wiz platform in their environment.
• Invest time in learning new product features, industry developments, and broadening technical skillsets.
• Represent Wiz in technical forums such as trade shows, meetups, and industry events.

Requirements

• Ability to deliver world-class demonstrations and training experience to Federal Civilian and DoD customers.
• Mastery of the technical sales process.
• Experience in a sales engineering role delivering solutions to C-level executives at enterprise customers.
• Strong operating system, virtual machine, and container knowledge.
• Knowledge of risk-based security assessments and frameworks.
• Understanding of cloud identity, access, certificates, and keys.

Bonus points

• Experience with traditional CSPM tools.
• SaaS experience.
• Awareness of the CI/CD process.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Network engineering experience.

Skills

• Cloud security experience.
• Technical sales experience.
• Ability to work with C-level executives.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Benefits

Compensation includes base salary, bonus, equity, and benefits. The US base pay range for this full-time position is $189,700—$211,400 USD. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is based, without the need for visa sponsorship. This role does not offer visa sponsorship.
